Super Visa timeline Feb 2025 only

I applied Super Visa for my parents after I got refusal for visitors visa (mother and father both) and here is the timeline till now

Applied : 21st February 2025
Biometrics : Already done In previous visa application and its valid
Medical : Upfront (attached the document in application itself and gave IME number while submitting application)
Eligibility : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Background : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final Decision : In Progress

Will post the further changes happening on file. Please let me know if someone has submitted the application on the same day.

Biometrics updated on Feb 10
Medical done upfront on Feb 8, still awaiting results.
Let me know if anyone who has applied in Feb 2025 has received any update on their application.

Hi, I have applied Super visa for my father on Feb 22 2025. He is an Indian citizen. He is over 79 years. I have not received any update so far other than the acknowledgement email. I have not received any update for biometrics. Do we have to do upfront medicals ??

You didn’t receive the biometric letter from IRCC ? It’s better to wait from visa officer to request the medical. My mother she completed her biometric March 4, 2025 I’m still waiting for medical request by IRCC..

No I did not receive any response after feb 22 2025. ok I will wait for them to come back. How long medicals is valid ? Do you have any link for the hospitals and the test

Biometric Information Letter. They'll ask you to submit biometrics of the applicants a few days after submitting application, in case biometrics is already not provided previously and still not expired.

Hi My father is over 79 years , I read that no need of biometrics over 79 years. Also can he take medicals before even request from ircc ?

Medical results valid 1 year since passed the medical, there is no link for hospital, once you receive the medical request it will be in letter link or address for medical to go

Each country have different processing time line , could be 4-6 months sometime earlier which country you application from ?

I have submitted application from Canada and my father is an Indian citizen. He is in India

I did the same thing. For Indian applicant the super visa processing time 4 months as website mentioned. It could be earlier it’s all in visa officer hand bro. Update me if you get anything

Did your applicant already done biometric? Inguess it will take least one month to update about medical. In our case we didn’t complete upfront medical. We just applied and after 4 hours later we got biometric request letter. Biometric completed on 4th March 2025. We are still waiting for medical request from officer ‍. Hopefully soon. And don’t worry there will be update for your application
