Super visa renewal question

Hello friends,

First thing first, no luck with PGP 2021. Now my parents already have super visa.
My mother’s super visa is valid till 1st March 2022 and my father’s visa is valid till 1st May 2023. Canadian visa is valid till passport expiry dates instead of 10 years.

Since my mother’s super visa is still valid, can I apply for renewal or ? She already got a new passport. I am assuming she wont have to go for medical/biometrics as it is not been 10 years since their application.
Also if they come to Canada now and stay here for 2 years by which time my fathers visa will expire as well. Can i file extension within Canada itself?

You technically can't renew the super visa. You have to apply from scratch. You won't need to do biometrics again however I believe she will need to do the medical again since it's a new application. And yes, she can apply for a new super visa now.

Yes, your father can apply for an extension from within Canada.

Can my mother enter Canada when her existing super visa is valid for less than 6 months?
Also are you sure I can apply for renew/new super visa from within Canada? I heard for supervisa applicant needs to be outside Canada.
