Hi all,

I'm inquiring about the super visa, to sponsor parents or grandparents for a three years period.

I would like to know, by who did it, the price to do by yourself or if it's better to use a representative to do so, pro and con will be appreciate.

I been told is a fast process ...

Looking forward to heaingr your feedback.

Thanks :)

We intended to go the S-visa route but applied for a regular TRV instead. You do not require health insurance for a regular TRV. In the end my MIL was granted a multiple-entry visa valid until right up to her passport expiry (18 months). If her passport was valid longer i am certain she would have been granted longer.

We used an agency, with no regret, and her TRV was approved in less than a week.

The supervisa application is extremely simple and straightforward and you shouldn't have any difficulties doing it on your own. I've always found representatives to be a huge waste of money as there really isn't much for them to do other than type in your information and collate all of your backup documents.

My suggestions would be the same that file the application yourself. Any agency or lawyer should only be involved if there is any complexity in your case. Else CIC have made the whole process so simple that you don't need to hire anyone.....And if you have any questions the corresponding Topics on this and other forums are there to help each other.....
