Super visa - question?

Hello all,

To apply for super visa for my parents, do I have to show I have been working for 3 years or did they change it back to one year? I meet the minimum salary threshold required for a family component but wasnt sure if one of the parameter is to be working in canada for 3 years - anyone?

You're confusing the super visa with sponsoring your parents for PR. There is no three year requirement for the super visa. There is, however, a three year requirement if you're sponsoring your parents for PR.

Thankyou. Last I heard is there is no longer a PR option (for parents) but super visa if I have to get my parents here. Is this not true?

No - that's not true. CIC started accepting parent / grandparent sponsorship applications again this year. Although there is an application cap of 5,000 per year (which was reached in January, I believe).

Hi, just wondering if I want to apply for my parent sponsorship do I have to wait for next year (january 2015) or \i can passed the application now even if they already reach the cap of 5000 for this yr of 2014?

You must wait for the program to open again in 2015.
