Super Visa Queries

Hello Seniors,

Im looking into applying for my parents super visa. I have already checked my eligibility and I can apply for that. However, I have some queries in this regards; I know many of these questions might have already be answered but I wasn't able to find any thing which is newer than year 2012 and thought there might have been some changes in requirements:

1) Can I apply online on behalf of my parents?
2) Is confirmed return ticket is mandatory to attach with the application?
3) Is it mandatory to get the medical assessment before/after for super visa?
4) how much time it takes for authorities to accept or reject the application?
5) How would I know about their decision, only my parents will get the mail or would I be getting the email as I will add my email when applying online?
4) If you can provide me with the checklist of mandatory items, it will be great too..

I have tried to answer your questions below
1. Yes you can apply online on their behalf - best idea is to attached representation form. however any children when applying for parent generally fill the online applications for parents.
2. No need for return ticket before getting the visa
3. medical is mandatory it is your choice if your parents want to do upfront medicals or do it once visa office asks you
4. every visa office has different time frames - you can search on CIC website (Canadian immigration and citizenship)
5. the decision will be updated on my CIC account, which you need to create to file online application
6. again you can go to CIC website "www.cic.gc.ca" and search super visa you will get the minimum requirements. e.f letter on invitation from child. financial stability proof. minimum income requirement for sponsor etc.

Thanks for your response. For return ticket as you said is not required, so i can just their application mentioning some dates on it?

Should i put these keeping in mind the time recommended on CIC for different countries?

I have the documents which are required by CIC but is there any thing i should keep in mind so to make this work. My visit visa request was declined three years back.
