Hello Everyone. Please help.
We have submitted application for Super Visa for my mother in law (Hyderabad, India) on 9th Nov 2021 and got the request for Biometrics on 10th Nov 2021.
There is a long wait for Biometrics in India, the earliest I could get is mid of December (Bangalore) or Early Jan (Hyderabad).
Is there any faster way of getting the biometrics appointment.
Can we explore the option of getting a recommendation letter from her doctor (Psychologist) that she has to join her daughter and son-in-law in Canada as soon as possible for her well being. Show the letter as a proof and get the biometrics faster. My mother in law is genuinely not well being alone in India.

Thanks for the help. Kindly let me know.

You should book the earliest available biometrics appointment and keep checking few times a day to see if any openings become available. There was someone in another thread saying you can pay an agent to get an appointment. (I'm against it).

I wouldn't recommend adding any document to get Biometrics appointments (lots of scams happening in India right now, even VFS website asks us to beware). Keep looking for biometrics schedule during night time in India (not many people log on) you will get a slot suddenly one time you open..but continuously try.

I've submitted my Mother's Super visa Application Today Oct - 2- 2021
Thanks everyone for all your help in answering my questions, special thanks to BillHyatt
I am planning to bring my Mom here in February and i hope they issue this super visa before that, Fingers crossed

Hi Fabia, have you applied through GC key or IRCC portal?

Hi Everyone,

I am applying super visa for both of my father and mother through the new IRCC portal, however, when i created the application, it only asked for one person's/father's exclusive details (passport, health condition, security etc) and only my mother's name, DOB etc but not her passport details. It did ask that, will spouse be accompanying you on your trip for which i answered yes. Do any of you happen to be in the same situation. Would it take application fee for both the applicants or should i have to create another application for my mother?

I submit the online application for my parents:

- Date of Application Submitted/AOR: Nov 1st
- Biometric Requested: Nov 1st my mom / 3rd my dad
- Biometric Submitted: N/A
- Biometric Updated in Portal: N/A
- Medical Requested or Date of Upfront Medicals: N/A
- Medical Completed: N/A
- Medical Passed: N/A
- Additional Information (if any): N/A
- Passport Request (PPR) Date: N/A
- Visa Office (if known): N/A

--> They are currently in Portland U.S. visiting a family until April, Book for Nov 19 for Seattle VAC, super bad luck, TT service staffs inform me today 4 PM, VAC of Seattle and San Francisco permanent close! only NY and LA are open, too far for my parents, so I book ASC (USCIS) in Portland, Dec 8th is the earliest, I hope IRCC still accepts it since it will be longer than 1 month of receiving Biometric letter.
--> Can my parents still do the medical exam without an IRCC request? or do I have to wait for the request letter first?

Thank you!

I create an account for my dad, so my dad becomes the primary applicant, when I fill out the questionnaire, there is a question about applying for a family member (Spouse). So I follow the questionnaire at the end to submit all the supporting doc for both, yes my dad required a lot more supporting doc, my mom only a few of them, and I pay $380 for both the visa fees + family biometrics.
