When u got bvl ? I have applied via gckey on September 26. How u have applied ircc new portal or gckey ?

please let us know, I also used the gckey and I am thinking that the new ircc portal might be faster especially because any immigration officers can treat the cases instead of regional or office visa centers.

Might upcoming week will be the ppr week for us as they have cleared the files till 23 September. As I have seeen in other group so this week we will get it

Hi we have applied for my parents supervisa in April 2021 and just after messages of received and all..no further updates..it just says through GCkey login that we are processing your application..we will contact you if anything changes…so how long it’s gonna take..anything similar faced by anyone..it’s very frustrating to see nothing from CIC side..biometrics we’re submitted upfront

For one day, I didn't check application status! There's a PPR letter!.


- Date of Application Submitted/AOR: Oct 05 2021 (GC Key)
- Biometric Requested: Oct 06 2021
- Biometric Submitted: Oct 13 2021
- Biometric Updated in Portal: Oct 13 2021
- Medical Requested or Date of Upfront Medicals: Upfront - October 2021

- Medical Completed: Upfront
- Medical Passed: Nov 15th 2021
- Additional Information (if any): no
- Passport Request (PPR) Date: Nov 15th 2021
- Visa Office (if known): New Delhi (India) - I'm not sure. BVL has Ottawa's address.

Interesting, Passport request was the first letter we got and then in 4 hours, the BVL letter was posted.

All the best everyone, I think India is moving applications now. One thing I did was sent a webform last week as I was thinking of reapplying using the new portal. What I said was, there's a lot of confusion in where to apply and asked if I should reapply using the new portal.

No upfront medical, and they did not ask for medical too. This is also a mystery to me.

In the application portal, I can see:

Review of medical results

• You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Parents visited on Visit Visa in 2019. VO didn't ask for medical at that time too.
