Super Visa - POF & Home Ties

Hi,
My canadian Sibling would be applying Supervisa for mother under the CAN+ program.
My mother has 10 yr USA visitor visa. She has even made two trips to USA in the last 5 years.

I am concerned about "Proof of funds" and "Home ties":-

1. Under CAN+, I have read POF need not be shown by applicant, as sponsor LICO would suffice the POF requirement. Is this correct information ? Can my mother skip the part of showing bank statement etc. ?? (Please Note there is no financial issue from sponsor side, got NOA's, T4 etc.)

2. Home ties scenario is peculiar, cos my mother (widow) wont have any family member in the home country as I too have secured Canadian PR recently (making both of her children Canadian PR's). Though I m still in India, and would be making soft landing in Canada in June 2018. And my mother Super Visa application would be filed (in April 2018) before I pay my visit to Canada to become PR holder.

Can my mother show me as a family member under home ties as I am yet to become PR holder and visit canada ?
Or should she refrain from highlighting my case and rather prove home ties only based on her properties (real estate) in India ?

1. Your mother should still show her own funds since this will strengthen her application.
2. No - you are not a tie. To demonstrate ties, she needs to show things like property and assets.

Super Visa Approved !

Sharing my experience:-

Firstly I applied by paper application via VFS Delhi. It took 15 days for them to issue visa. I got the email on the 18th day and collected the passport from VFS office in delhi.

You need to submit your original passport with paper application. Paper application is faster.

For paper application, attach the following forms:-
imm 5257e, 5475e, 5476e, 5484e, 5707e

Invitation letter from canadian sponsor
Promise Letter from Canadian sponsor (make sure the LICO requirement is met)

Sponsor docs:
Notice of asessment & T4 (tax docs), Employement letter copy, PR card copy, passport copy and Birth certificate copy (to prove relationship)

Applicants Bank details:
Bank Balance certificate
(Though it may not be a prerequisite for supervisa, but i attached one showing INR 7 lacs balance certificate. Since I transfered the funds to my mothers bank account just few days earlier to filing of application, therefore I also attached a gift affidavit to justify recent deposit of money into my mothers bank account)

Ties Back Home:
To prove solid home ties, I showed property owned by mother in india.
I used the service of govt. approved property valuation report. The guy sits at district centre, janakpuri, and charges INR 2500 per property valuation. Just carry the photocpy of your property documents and one picture of your property. He will issue the report in few hours time.
Dont forget to mention in the invitation letter about your close relatives (other children) back in india and the tentative date of your mothers return to india. Try show a purpose for her necessary return. I showed my mothers agricultural farms and her need to return next year at the time of harvesting season.

E-Medical
I got the medical done in advance from Sadhu Vaswani Hospital, Dhaula kuan. Got a copy of acknowledgement and enclosed the same with the paper application. No need for appointment, just visit early in the morning around 9-10 am. Carry medical history docs , if anything major happened in the past.

Note: My mother had the advantage of already having travelled to USA in the past on tourist visa. (HIGHLIGHT it, if u got USA VISA)

Once you have arranged all the docs, pay the online fees and attach payment acknowledgement receipt with the application. No need for VFS appointment. Just visit early in the morning. The VFS office is inside Shivaji Stadium metro station (Airport Line), so better go by metro.

Are you sure you are in the same situation? Like previously the original poster's parent in the below thread has no property and you also said you are in the same situation:

Thanks for your response. I'm new to this forum and found it really useful so far. I agree that I am posting on multiple threads because I didn't want to open a duplicate thread (it's something I learned from other forums but I apologies if it's not applicable here). However, I'm asking for specific questions in all the posted threads which are relevant to my case.
