Super VISA - Outside Canada - Late 2020 - Resemblance to Average processing time !

Here is a brief description of my scenario:

Applied for mother-in-laws super visa on September 2020. Biometric completed on November 2020. No upfront Medical.

Application is on process for last 230 days (counting from November 2020). If I check average processing time on website, it varies between 272 - 292 days.

Now, I know applications are being processed delayed due to COVID-19 but since my application is very near to reaching average processing time, did any of you experienced further delay beyond this average processing timeframe?

In short, have any of us (who applied during pandemic) got their Super Visa application finalized around average processing timeframe?

Hi Fahad - I have not yet find someone with completed Super Visa Application who applied after pandemic. I applied for my mothers visa in March 2021, biometrics was done and nothing after that. Ill keep you posted if I find any new piece of information. Thanks,

Thanks for replying. Yes, I was also having a feeling that not too many people who applied for Super Visa during pandemic got their application finalized. Hence I opened this thread. Hopefully, things will get better soon.

I have read on other threads about people who applied in 2021 and have already got PPR.

Contrarily, my parent's application is in processing since Aug 2020 (biometrics submitted in Dec 2020, upfront medicals in Jun 2021).

Looks like new applications are being processed and ours got stuck in the backlog.

This is so frustating!
 
Hi Guys i am thinking of applying supervisa for my parents. do u guys know how much should be my income annually so as to make sure they will get the visa.

Yeah, I sent a webform for priority processing on 23 August 2021. Received a response that its in queue for review on 26th August from Abu Dhabi Office.
The next day i received Medical Request on 27th August.
Medical done on 14th September 2021.
Medical passed on 17 September 2021.

Now waiting for PPR.

Thank u for replying .. I have applied for my mother on April 2021 we did every thing biometric. Upfront medical.. but we got request for additional documents one week ago .. i don’t know if this good sign or just normal processing ?? Do u have any idea thank for any info

Yeah it's all good once they review additional documents, they will finalize application and send PPR. Expecting good news this month.
