Super Visa or Regular Visa

Hi Everyone,

I want to apply a visit visa for my parents (from Pakistan). I am considering these factors:

- they have already had supervisa, which expired this year
- they have been in Canada a few times, and have always left within 3 months
- their PR application is in process

Given the covid-19 situation, and the fact that they are both retired, but have property to show ties to the home country.

Would it be advisable to go for regular visa over the supervisa, because I want to avoid them having to go through the medicals during this time, to avoid the extra travel. Or is the super visa the safer option.

They will need to complete a medical regardless of whether they apply for a super visa or regular TRV.

Hi, In my opinion you should apply visitor visa . I am in same situation right now and going to apply Visitor for them.
In visitor there is no need of medicals however they need Biometrics if not given earlier in 10 years.
