@Toronto2013 yes visa officer will know by the documents u submit that it is trv or sv. in fact sv is special type of trv. furthermore, it is at the discretion of officer to issue trv or sv or to reject totally. Even if u apply for sv you may be granted trv of multiple entry. (this is what I read on forum). You also mention that u r applying for sv in your letter of invitation.

Oh ok. There was no checklist also in the list of documents that CIC displayed after I did the questionnaire so I was confused. Thank you for the response. Appreciate it.

Hi there,

I have been applied Super visa for my parents at September 2014! But they hadn't got the visa.

Now my question is do they have to do the medical again if I am applying at this april? or No need. Because accroding to the CIC Medical is valid for one year.

Got confused.......

Thanks

Please advise those who are applying online. .is there any specific pdf version that I need to install to be able to apply online?

There is a field in the main apllication form where you select the type as "parent grandparent supervisa". Its not the documents you submit which decide what visa you apply. that doesnt make sense.

My mother-in-law is planning to come in May. What about your parents?

Awesome!!! So they are trying to close our file as early as possible, it's a definitely good news. There will be no fees associates to send passport to Singapore via VFS. This fees was embedded with application fee.

When do you think your parents are coming?
