Hi, Sadatul, I want to apply supervisa for my mother on next month. I am also waiting for NOA. Can you please answer my below queries? Thanks a ton!!

Is the online supervisa and online TRV application link is same? Then how they know that this is a supervisa application? Is which section we have to upload the T4, NOA? is it Proof of Means of Financial Support section, where we have to upload NOA/T4? I thought - section Proof of Means of Financial Support is for parents financial situation. Please correct me if I am wrong.

What did you write in purpose of trip section?> Is it a one page letter, same like invitation letter?

In the questionnaire section, I have doubt with two questions for supervisa of parents:

1. How long are you planning to stay in Canada?
-I answered 6 months or more. It it right choice for supervisa? do you think I should choose 6months or less??

2. Are you giving someone access to your application?
- I am operating the online application file for my parents supervisa. What answer should I choose here? I choose NO though.

Hi AH15,

I am also applying for my mother end of April. Lets stay connected.

I think you missed purpose of visit in your section of documents. I am not sure of letter of explanation. are you applying online? If yes, which section did you put your NOA/T4?

In the questionnaire section, I have doubt with two questions for supervisa of parents:

if you applied online please share what did you put.

thanks,

I think you need to provide parents bank statement but not sure where to upload. I am facing same problem. Also parents hardcopy photo is not require as they have to provide biometric. If you providing hardcopy application, are you submitting photocopy of insurance policy and receipt? From where did you buy the medical insurance?

I am going to apply online. there are different link for NOA and T4, i only select T4 so there are only link for T4, not NOA. I also select more than 6 months and giving access to none. If you apply online no hardcopy photo is required.
For paper application insurance policy and receipt photocopy is fine. I am planning to buy insurance from SRMRM.
from where you are planning? Do you know anything about SRMRM? is this licenced?

Hi Sadatul,

Did you apply online from within Canada? Can you apply using your myCIC account or did you need to create a login id for your parents? I am planning to apply for my mother and I would prefer to do it on her behalf as she is not tech savvy to do it on her own online.

Hi AH15,

Thank you so much for your answers to my query. I am statying in Canada. I will apply online from Canada for my mother who is living in Bangladesh. Did you do same?
what answer you put for this ques: Do you want to submit an application for a family member?

I am not sure about SRMRM. But somepeople from BD brought the insurance from GMS and got supervisa for their parents, thats what I folllowed from other threads. I didnt yet take decision from where I would buy the insurance.

One more thing, as per I know it is important to provide NOA for supervisa. Lets give update each other.

I needed to create new login information in order to have access in MyCIC. I applied online from Canada.

I already received my Mum’s medical request so my timeline as follows,

Applied- 19th March 2015
Bio-Metric- Requested right away
Medical Request- 22nd March 2015 ( Saturday and Sunday off so literally received this request within couple of days)

Let’s hope to get it soon.

Thank you. Did you have to answer yes to the authority to release information to the designated individual when you did the online quiz? If I am appointed as representative for my mother, can I apply using my login credentials in myCIC or do I need to still create the login id for my mother. Thanks in advance.

I answered NO to that question. You don’t really have to appoint yourself as your mother’s representative because by default you are. You are literally acting on behalf of your mother so all I did was to give them my email and phone number. I uploaded all files on behalf, in doing so by default I am acting as her representative.

You will create MyCIC and apply for her. You don’t need to create separate login.

If the first question directed to my mum then surely I said NO because my mum won’t apply for anyone else other than her.
I mentioned 6 months and more. I bought insurance from G.M.S and I found them cheap comparatively.
