Hi everyone,

Submitted my parents supervisa yesterday,but i purchased medical insurance with a deductible amount of $10000.Could this be considered as financial instability?

No it won't. Rule is only for the amount of coverage - Minimum $100k. There is no rule for deductible.

Sorry missed that it said deductible no coverage level. As long as you can afford the 10k if your parent gets sick you are fine. If you don't have the 10K it is safer to pay a bit more for the policy.

Taking an insurance with $10000 deductible is not advisable as you will always be end up paying more if you claim. If you get a chance, better change your deductible to $0.
