Hi All,

I became Permanent Resident in Canada last month and have a job offer (full time permanent position). My job is starting form July 2015. I want to apply for super visa for my mother. My question is.. can I apply based on my employment letter? I do not have T4 slips or notice of assessment for now. Please let me know if I need to show 12 month income proof or just job offer is enough,..

Someone told me I need to show proof of last 12 months income above 53K per year (our total family size including my mother would be 5 people).

My question is... if my 12 months have not passed then does that rule apply on me? secondly I am unable to find that 12 month income proof requirement on CIC website.. can someone share a link when its written?

lastly I checked IMM5484E for super visa. It says you need one of the following:

1. notice of assessment
2. T4 slips
2. employment letter showing annual salary
etc

so If I have employment offer letter.. should that suffice or not?

No answers? :'(

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/visitors-b8.0/ is the correct forum for Super Visa's (It is a Visitor class)

In regards to your specific question, I believe an employment offer would suffice, however I believe you may have to maintain that income level throughout the application process and you would most likely be required to submit pay subs once it gets to a certain point in the process (not 100% on this, just guessing)
