Hello,
My mother is already in Ontatrio, Canada on TRV for 3 more months, can I file her Supre Visa application form within Canada? If so which station should I send application to Buffalo or Vegreville?
I appreciate your time in this matter.

There is no "in Canada" application process for super visas. The application has to be sent to the visa office for your mother's home country.

Yes, you can apply for Super Visa from within Canada if your mother is already in Canada with a TRV. You send her application to Vegreville, AB to extend her stay for up to 2 years. You will have to meet minimum LICO requirements, purchase a Canadian medical insurance for her with a minimum $ 100,000 coverage, and she will need to undergo a medical examination here in Canada. Please, see the FAQ for Super Visa in the following link. Add "ww" in front of the link as it is not possible to post full links in this forum. Good luck!

Thank you!
Does my nother need to fill "change of status form" then?
I checked CIC website and what I understood Super visa is basically a TRV for extended period, can you please confirm if its Vegreville to send application to? as for person residing in Canada TRV application goes to Detriot, Buffalo not Vegreville.

Thank you, please read below:

If parents and grandparents are already in Canada and their visa will be expiring soon, what should they do? Will they be eligible to renew their status from in Canada?

An application for a new single- or multi-entry visa must be done from outside Canada at a visa office.
However, parents and grandparents who are in Canada on an authorized stay of up to six months may apply for an extension of their status of up to two years by submitting an application to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta, as long as they meet all the criteria for the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa. These applications will be examined on a case-by-case basis

In answer to the question about applying from in Canada see this link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/visit/index.asp#superVisa

the answer below relates to a quesiion concerning someone already in Canada - so application would be made through Vegreville.

Please note also the requirement for Canadian Medical Insurance. This can also be obtained AFTER arrival in Canada but typically there is a 48 hour exclusion period for sicknesses. For more details I would invite you to visit my website at http://www.travelinsure.ca
