Hello, my mom just arrived 4days ago. She's here as a ssuper visa visitor. my mom came out at the airport without a permit to stay--- unlike the regular tourist that usually comes out at the airport (immigration) with a paper thing (paper just like the working permit thing). my mom comes out without anything.. i asked her if did she went to immigration and she said yes, "the immigration even asked me if i speak english" thats what she said. Its my moms first time in canada so she doesnt know as well that she need that paper. I notice from the passport that there is a stamped of arrival date(must be) with a date at the bottom---- looks like February 23, 2016 (but not so clear if its 2016). is it possible that this is the duration allowed of stay for my mom? will they gonna send the paper that i was looking for? I moved out of my address a month before my mom arrived to accommodate her without notice to the immigration. :o

based on the time line you provided, she was allowed the maximum time of two years (seems close to it depending on her visa validity/passport expiration) assuming she came in on April 23 2014 and the stamped date is feb 23 2016. there is nothing to worry about as they dont always give the visitor record

good luck

Totally agree. Go by the stamp.

Thanks guys.
one more question is, the arrival stamp with date at the passport is good? is it not supppose to be there's a paper (same kind of a working permit paper thing) that comes with it?
