Hi everyone!
So here's our situation. I'm currrently living with my partner for more than 1 year with our 9 months old son. We decided to apply my mom for Super Visa. My dad just came from USA working as seaman for 20 years. Actually, he is already retired meaning, he is home for good.
Does this contribite to what they call "strong ties backhome"?
Other question, my partner is earning more than I do, she is earning around 60,000 but just this year. Her previous NOA showed a very low income as well as mine. Does this affect our application to be denied? Please enlighten me.

Additional information so you could give me accurate advise.
We can provide land titles and house title which is conjugal property with my mom coz they are legally married. (Marriage cert can be provided)
We can also get certification letter from the bank that she has around $5000 in her account.

But here's one more, as Inviter, we dont have savings but we can get employment letters and employment stubs from our employers.
Making sure we met that LICO requirement, to be specific, if we join our income together with my partner, it will be around $50,000 basing from our last year's income.

Do you meet the LICO amount on you last NOAs? It seems like you are a protected person. This may cause issues for your supervisa application. If there are fears that your mother will claim asylum she is likely to be refused.

If you have no savings that could also be an issue. How will you pay for insurance or extra costs that arise when you have an extra person in your home. Even a flight ticket would be a large expense if you don’t have any savings. Insurance costs and a flight would use almost half of your mother’s savings. You should apply if you meet the LICO amount on your combined NOAs but know there definitely some red flags.

Yes. And I just got my PR last year. And in my last NOA, I have low income. But again, I am applying together with my partner. Adding it up makes us met the LICO.

If you combine NOAs and meet LICO you qualify to apply. Because you are a protected person your family will have a harder time being approved for temporary permits because of the risk that they may apply for asylum. Your savings level is probably just enough but definitely borderline because there are expenses when parents are in Canada like medication, possible dental care, extra food costs, etc. All you can do is apply and wait and see.

Thank you so much. I know some things will be difficult but with crossed fingers. I will try to apply.
