Hi,

I am planning to apply for supervisa for my father in law. My mother in law is passed away in May this year. My questions are:

1. Do we need to submit death certificate of my mother in law with the application?

2. In IMM5257F form whose funds needs to be write in 'funds available for my stay' ?
and how much is enough, if my father in law is planning to stay for 10 months?

3. We have got our PR in Sept 2015 but we recently moved here in Febuary this year. Me and my husband are working full time and meet 'minimum income threshold'. As I had started working here in Febuary and my husband in May, we can not provide 'Notice of assessment (NOA)' for the past 3 years. Is it fine if we attach our paystubs, job letter and bank statements only?

Thanks in advance,

1. no, in the family info form, MIL put deceased and your FIL should be widower
2. zero is fine but if he has money then put the converted amount in CAD
3. Write a letter that states that you are PR but just recently moved permanently so you don't have NOA to submit and then attach the job letter, paystub and bank statements.

if you are applying from India then definitely you need NOA. Actually we do not have any option so we applied on 11th Sep without NOA with pay stubs, recent job letters, last 3 month bank statements (highlighted our salary coming in every month) and a letter explaining that we recently moved here. After about 2 weeks we got an email from immigration section 'Please submit your NOA'.
Me any my husband both were working in UK before moving here and were earning same salary. We sent our last 2 years tax paid document with latest job letters again and letter explaining that we are moved here recently and we do not have NOA. It is more than 3 months now we are still waiting for their decision.

I will suggest it is better to apply tourist visa instead of super visa if you do not have NOA. We did this mistake and we are stuck from last 3 months..

Agreed. A TRV/visitor visa would be a better option instead of a super visa if you don't have NOAs.

For super visas, the host must prove s/he has earned income for at least one year from Canadian sources although NOAs for three years would be better

Is part year (like we worked for 2 3 months in 2020) NOA also eligible for Super Visa?
Qualifying for supervisa is based on income earned and not salary. If you only worked for 2-3 months chances that your parents qualify for a supervisa are pretty low. Most only qualify for a supervisa the year after their child moves at the earliest.
