Hi there, I need some advice or insights on my situation.

My husband and I are thinking of applying super visa for my mother after selling our house and moving to a new city. We need her to watch the kids for a little over a year while I go back to work so we can qualify to buy a new house (with an in-law suite for rental income). Currently, I don't have any income but my husband's income meets the requirement for 5 people (me, spouse, 2 kids and my mother). Is it possible to apply for a super visa if I don't have any income? and after reading some threads, is it really necessary for her to have good amount of savings in her account coz I believe that's not part of the requirements for applying super visa. In regards to ties to home country, she's a teacher there, has a house together with my father, and has 3 more kids.

Thank you!

Yes - you can apply as the primary application and your husband can co-sign. Note that taking care of your children while you work is regarded as working illegally by IRCC.

Thank you! Yeah, we’ve thought that it might be illegal but not so sure. So what’s the most valid reason then? Visiting us especially grandkids coz she has never met them.
