Hi @Bryanna
We had applied for my mum’s supervisa online on May 3rd, was asked for extra medical tests and got medical passed- july 6th. It has been over 3 weeks now and no updates. Do you suggest we should send a case specific enquiry/ email to visa office on Monday, since the usual processing time has passed or should be just cross fingers and sit and wait?

Your mom's super visa processing is on the right path. Don't send a CSE. I'm sure you'll get a positive decision soon

Hi @Bryanna
First of all thank you for all you help to everyone here; i got a lot better understanding of Super Visa by just reading your replies.

I just few of questions for you:

1. I am applying Super Visa for my mom who is currently in India. I myself as PR of Canada meets all the requirements. My brother is also PR in Canada. Along with me and my brother; My Mom is part owner of our home and fields in India. What i wanted to confirm is that - whether a property evaluation by a CA should be sufficient for showing ties to home country.

2. My Mom also gets Govt pension as my Dad was in Army but unfortunately is no longer in this world. Should i show that pension as income or it can be a negative thing as it might be considered govt support ?

3. My Mom has not filed Income tax returns. Will that be a problem ? Or should i just file an income tax return for this year and attach same in tha application ?

Thanks in Advance..

I had some what similar scenario as yours,
- we gave Evaluation of house and fields, supplemented with CA prepared net worth statement.
- in our case, there were no IT returns to present. We just gave bank statement with nominal funds. I believe a letter of expression stating source of funds (like agricultural income) would have been of some benefit, though I am not sure of this.

Hope that helps.
We had visa approval after 75 days with upfront medicals.

Hello,

I had applied online for my parents supervisa with upfront medicals on June 25th.

Submitted application: June 25th
Acknowledgement Letter: July 10th (New Delhi Office)
Medicals passed: July 13th
Reviewing eligibility status update: July 23rd

Waiting for an update since.

In my invitaion letter, I had mentioned that I am attaching NOA (2017) and T4 as proof of income. But forgot to specify my family size.

Should I send an email, stating that I forgot to specify the family size which is just me and my husband and with my parents coming on supervisa it will be 4.

Thanks for any help!

Yes, please email this information to the visa office. It is critical for the LICO calculations
