Hi,
I have applied for super visa for my parents back in early February. They had their Medical. We were not requested to provide any additional information than what was provided with the application. I received email from the VFS Global ( local Visa office) stating the following.

" Dear xxxx, Visa application, tracking ID No. xxxxxxxxx – Processed Decision is ready for collection at Canada Visa Application Center{VAClocation}. Please collect your Decision from Canada Visa Application centre between xx:00-xx:00 Hours. "

I am curious what this decision means. They have not requested to provide their Passport. This could very well mean that the visa has been denied.
Anyone has any experience with such notifications? In case the visa is denied, how long do they have to wait to reapply?

Paper based/ Banglore in a month even after an additional document requested, well in-tune with paper applications being processed way faster than online applications. One too many to be a coincidence or case specific.

For those who haven't yet applied, please go for a paper based application.

Received call today from my consultant that received email requesting medicals for my mother in law. Timeline: Applied online on March 17, 2017.Medical request on March 23, 2017. Now need to book appointment at available slot at KIMS, Kerala as that is close for her. No passport requested.

From what I have observed, medicals are being requested right away irrespective of the application outcome. The wait is long, not discouraging you, just plan things accordingly. Applied online 50 days and counting, not a shred of update.

if the status is " you have passed your medical", does that mean the visa is approved? and how long does it take to get passport request after medical passed?

Hi Guys,

Need some information from some experienced/Senior members.

I need to apply Super Visa for my Mother, she is widowed and my big brother is in UK, besides we don't have any other siblings, only two brothers. I arrived in Canada in July 2016 and last year I didn't have a job which suffice the requirement of Super Visa but this year by the grace of God I found a job which meets the minimum income threshold; My Questions:

1. Do I still need Notice of Statement, but that will not reflect my latest minimum income threshold.
2. Can I show my employment letter, my Incorporation statement etc to prove I meet the threshold.
3. What are the documents I will need for Super Visa Application.
4. Estimated time taken for application.
5. I applied for Visit visa before but it was denied based on weak family ties in home country and not having foreign visits, what I supposed to do to make my application strong.

Applied online a week before you did .... no updates either. While paper applications are being done and dusted in 2-3 weeks.

I don't think there is any online applicant who has recently got a ppr or a decision.

50 days without any update is hard. If they atleast request ppt and then the delay is ok as we would know its a good sign. I wonder why do they request medicals irrespective of the outcome as it costs money and Time. Hoping the best for everyone.

hello all members

i need help. i applied for my mothers super visa from india to visit me in canada. i applied online in jan 2017. she get her visa stamped yesterday but i am confused what kind of visa it was, in category it says PG-1 VISITOR. NO OF ENTRIES - ONE
strange thing is she get back her passport on 23 march 2017 but visa dates are from 3 feb 2017 to 8 aug 2017.
so what visa is this Huh?
i meet all requirements of financial thing. medical was submitted with application. one year insurance was also submitted with application. so she can come and stay only till 8 august 2017 ??
