Super visa and New passport

Hi All,

My family member who is currently in India has a super visa stamped in her passport which is scheduled to expire sometime next year (more than 6 months validity).
I plan to apply and get her a new passport while they she is in India. Upon getting a new passport she will book her flight ticket using the new passport. She will carry both her passports during the travel.

My question is - upon arriving in Canada will her super visa still be considered valid even though it was stamped on the old passport and she is travelling on the new passport.

Provided the visa is valid beyond the passport expiry date and both passports will be available upon request, its possible.

However, I must note that competence of certain staff at the airport may vary thus it may result in some delays at check-in or at the border.
