hi..i need some help.kindly reply me
my sister is Canadian citizen n her husbnd as well.now she want to apply for supper visa for parents.i just want to know after providing insurence n their statements home acomodations etc..does she also need from our side(parents) any bnk statement or strong financial ties?? bcos we dont have any bank stmt or financial rsources to show.(from parents side),just my parents still have two unmaried daughter n two yonger sons under 22 age..

For accurate info, I'm just pasting what CIC says:

To apply for the parent and grandparent super visa, you must:

be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada,
be allowed to enter Canada and
meet certain other conditions.
Note: You cannot include dependants in this application. Only your spouse or common-law partner can come with you under this visa.

Visa officers consider several things before they decide if you can come to Canada. You must be a real visitor to Canada who will leave by choice at the end of your visit. A visa officer will look at these things when you apply:

your ties to your home country,
the purpose of your visit,
your family and finances,
the overall economic and political stability of your home country, and
an invitation from a Canadian host.

You must also:

prove that your child or grandchild in Canada meets a minimum income threshold,
provide a written statement from that child or grandchild that he or she will give you financial support,
have valid Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year and
have an immigration medical exam.

Now, I can tell you what I know from my experience. In case of Super Visa, the VO prioritizes the sponsor's financial status and may/may not overlook parents' financial condition. It also depends where your parents are applying from. To be in the safe side, you may need to show some bank/income statements. It doesn't have to be huge.

my sister wanted to pply for supper visa for both parents but now her family income is below so now she can only invite my father under her income.
we donot have bnk stmt or property in pakistan..our financial position is not strong..n in document checklist of supper visa only 4 things needed
1..letter of invitation
2..insurence..
3..proof of parental relation
4.. n proof of financial etc from my sister who want to apply for supper visa..
i just wanted to know will they reject my fathers super visa on basis that he has provided no finaicial stmt or job letter etc..??or only for father not for both applied ?it just becos their family income below that requiremnts.
or suggest me..if there is needed to ready some bnk stmt or letter of employmnt..my father is a builing contractor n he has bnk stmt just 4,5 lacs etc..shoult we provide job letter n that stmt or not?
or will they reject that why for father not for mother/?kidly reply me

No, it's not an issue. But if your sister barely satisfies the LICO limit; it may be an issue. If she is well over it, she can definitely sponsor her father.

FYI, in the document checklist, it also asks for the following from the applicant:

• Proof of financial support
• Any additional documents required by the responsible visa office (check with your VFS first if they require anything else)

1..insurence
2..parental relationship.
3..fulfill minm requiremnt income from sisters side who want to apply..

my question is..we do not have any bank stmt or property in pakistan..except my father has 2 unmarried daughter,wife n 2 unmarried sons here) as ties in pakistan..no property
we are apply only on these basis..can u plz tell me..how much chances are there to get super visa for my father without any property in home country or bnk smt..
but he has 7 to 8 visits to malaysia,dubai or masqat in his pasport.good travel histry..no over stay in any country..

plzz reply me..we we find quite less chances just bcos of weak finances here in pakistan..reply me plz

Income is enough to apply for 1 parent.

I cannot really predict the chances for your father. As you know, the VO, especially from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. still wants to see some sort of financial guarantee from any visitor applicant. But again, for SuperVisa, they may overlook any poor financial condition. So, you still have good chances.

Is your father retired? I mean he doesn't do any job or any business? If he does, that will be good enough even though you can't show any bank statement.

thank u sooo much for reply..m bit satisfied..my father is a private building contractor..but income is used not saved (he has bank acount which is used for keeping money but b4 six month closing balance was 5,6 lac,but last six months it had no balance,now that account has just one lac after six months gap..)..so should we attach any letter showing that he do this work..but what if they asked for bank stmt,or pay slips etc..??or we should not attach any thing like that bcos we have no proves of payments or income etc..

having his wife and children in Pakistan is the best home ties proof, reason because my husband applied for his parents, gave all theproprty and financial income documents, but it was rejected because they said both of their children are in Canada and they wouldn't return.

What you can do, if not already applied yet, your father should write a legal letter(get it attested) with the topic "Proof of home ties" and explain that he has family to take care of back home and he will return in time as mentioned by his visa requirements and will not violate Canadian immigration rules and regulations

your father is leaving his family back home that's strong thing to show as ties in pakistan plus he has good travel history...for super visa there shouldn't be any prob.
