Applied second time on New portal but they cancelled my old application and updated new one in progress for eligibility review and Medical updated for March 14. But the situation for the old application was exactly the same. Don't understand now what to do. Any suggestions or what to expect or any step needs to take.

when did u apply for the first time? were both applications made in new portal?

My Initial application (New Delhi) was in November 2020 through GC key and then I applied again from New portal on Dec 23, 2022, upfront medical updated since Jan 14 but nothing happened so far. I applied 3rd application now on 9th March 2022 and now they cancelled the second application.

hopefully you will get the ppr for your third application soon…i’m waiting since november 2021, seeing no updates so far thinking of reapplying (trv for parents)

Hello Guys,

I have applied supervisa for my mother on December 22nd through GCKey, Biometrics were done on December 30th, 2021. Since then literally no updates. What should be done? Should we submit another application?

Anyone in similar situation? Can i apply visitors visa or another supervisa concurrently? Please comment.

Did you apply three times on your own or CIC told you to reapply? Did you ask them to cancel all your previous applications?

I have applied my Mom super visa on March 16. Got Biometric request March 17 mean today.
My mom is widow and she have house on her name and bank account. We did upfront medical but she has Hepatitis. They sent her for further testing and still going on.
Any advise or tip? My mom is from Pakistan and me and my husband send invitation letter so normally how long to get visa?

so then it looks like 3rd application eligibility review started. Check the status. Even if medical passed, eligibility review need to start. In supervisa it takes time. In my case it took 2.5 months post eligibility review to issue PPR.

Country specific processing timelines to be checked.

in supervisa your parents financial status does not count. Its your income(you need to meet the LICO). You or spouse can combine and send invitation. Your NOA and pay stubs matter to them. Regarding her medical diagnosis probably you could wait and see, i have no much knowledge about how this. There are special instructions to panel physicians when clients are diagnosed with hepatitis or liver disease. they ask for additional tests and need to pass those.

I've heard from one of the lawyers that they can stay for 2 years from the day they entered Canada even the visa is expiring early. Is this true? Does anyone here have such experience?

Not much knowledgeable person still adding my inputs, but they need to return back before expiry unless you extend their visa. you can clarify this directly from CIC by raising a webform for trying to call them.

you need to apply extension 30 days ahead for further stay. Ideally the officer at port should have stamped for 2 years , but looks like it was stamped for 1 year only..if visa expiry is April end , then quickly go and apply for extension. They can be here on implied status till IRCC reverts. They might ask for medical exam but am sure they will extend...

Try raising a webform.. My parents has similar timeline and they got their medicals after i raised the request.

I created a web form today. Is it normal not to receive a delivery receipt or ticket number for the web form?

Here's my timeline:

IRCC portal
23 Feb 2022 Application submitted
24 Feb 2022 Biometrics request
28 Feb 2022 Biometrics completed and tracker updated
18 Mar 2022 Created a web form
Awaiting next steps....

I've tried a couple of times raising a webform earlier but they are not replying as the there priority is to the refugees.
