Timelines for my mother SuperVisa
Mode: GC Key
Application Submission: Nov, 1st 2021
Biometric Given: Dec, 8th 2021

CIC Processing Times as of today 71 days, which already passed from the day I assumed she had given her Biometric.
Anyone in same boat? or advise if we reapply through portal?

Medical: Upfront on Oct 22,2021
Biometric: not needed as already submitted previously and valid for 10 years
No updates since Nov 16, 2021
Raised multiple web forms but I always received the default responses, still there is no update on medical or eligibility.
Anyone knows what can be done here?

Is your mom medical reflecting? My parents did in Oct2021 and till date only my dads reflects and for mom they sent request. So am checking the trend here

Hi, I’m going to apply soon to get my parents-in-law to come here for my delivery of baby. 1)Do I submit the application for both together or is it separate forms? 2)Also, how is supervisa insurance proof shown? 3)Is it the last year income or last 3 years that we submit? 4)does online application require online signature?

Contact ur member of parliament they will help you they are helping me now they told me don’t reapply and I’ll probably hear good news by this week

Is your mom medical reflecting? My parents did in Oct2021 and till date only my dads reflects and for mom they sent request. So am checking the trend here

yes my friends mom medical expired, however supervisa was granted. but at port of entry immigration officer stamped only for 6 months and gave an exit date and asked to re-do medical in canada and then request extension. my parents did in sep2021.. if medicals expired please re-do to avoid issues..

yes my friends mom medical expired, however supervisa was granted. but at port of entry immigration officer stamped only for 6 months and gave an exit date and asked to re-do medical in canada and then request extension. my parents did in sep2021.. if medicals expired please re-do to avoid issues..

Oct2021 my dad passed medical and then eligibility review started end of Dec2021, till now nothing.

May be because mom medical is not updated yet.

I don't know how they are processing.

but both have eligibility reviews started since Dec2021.

Hi all,
I had initially applied for my parents super visa on GCKey on Oct 11; they gave their biometrics on Nov 30, which was updated on their application page, but since there hadn't been any movement. They had also done upfront medicals, but that was not reflected in their application page.
I finally reapplied for them using the new IRCC portal on Feb 18, and now their new applications have been approved within 3 days. We received the passport request today.

A quick update from me:
My parents had applied on 2nd Feb using old IRCC portal (GCKey login). I was worried after reading posts on this forum that the application might be stuck. However my parents received biometric on 3rd Feb (next day). They did their biometric on 14th. They had already done upfront medical before submitting the application. On 21st Feb, received passport request. So it was super quick.
