Correspondence Letter for Biometrics confirmation - November 23, 2021
Wrote to MPP: Dec 16, 2021 (MPP responded that application is finalized and I should get correspondence soon)
Wrote again to MPP: Jan 05, 2022

Can you please share the content of what you wrote to MPP? My parents application was applied in January 2021, but still no response.

Originally applied for parents' SuperVisa on Sept 25 2020 with upfront medical.
Reapplied thru the portal on Nov 25, 2021 without upfront medical.
Profile on portal updated with medical passed on Dec 2, 2021. Also received BVL on the same date.
Received PPR today - Dec 30, 2021

New update. So apparently my parents received V1 visa which is basically a visitor visa even though we applied for Super visa. Also, it's valid for 4 years though their passports won't expire for another 9 years.

Any suggestions? Should I apply for a supervisa again and have them here on visitor visa in the meanwhile?

I have seen this with many applicants lately. I have also sent a passport for the stamping for my parents. Did this happen to any applicants from India?

Question to upfront medical submitters after filing super visa application using GCKEY. I went with my parents for their upfront medical examination at Sadhu Vaswani medical centre, New Delhi. The examining lady doctor was very angry that we are doing medical upfront after submitting application, and should have waited for medical request. I tried to explain them that you can send my upfront medical to IRCC by linking with UCI/Application No. But they didn't note UCI/application no, and only gave eMedical report and said that reports will be available in 5days. Now my question is how to upload upfront medical report?

My mom had her medical on 5th Jan, its been 12 days and there is no update in GCKey portal yet. Should I raise a webform sending them the receipt of the test?

You can use the webform to upload the emedical sheet. You will be need to fill in the application number and UCI on the webform - that will link the medical results to the application. We did that for my parents and medicals reflected as passed in about 5-6 days on their GCKEY profiles

No, still waiting. I reapplied on the new portal Dec 15, 2021. Waiting on that too. Hopefully in the nee next weeks - fingers crossed.

Oh okay, can you please share the link of the new portal? And does the old application gets deleted automatically or we'll have to withdraw it first and then re-apply on the new portal?
