1. I will be creating mycic account for my mother in her name, using her email address. I don’t wish to receive any correspondence on my email ID. Do I really need to show that I’m a representative?
2. Has anyone got return flight tickets and got them refunded later?

If you are "impersonating her" you are not a representative. A representative is someone with legal rights to "represent" someone else.

Many airlines have a refund policy or flexible ticketing. You should ask the airline.

So if I ask my mom to sign a representative form, can I apply for her using my CIC account? That will save me a lot of trouble. Please suggest.
 
Does anyone know where do I see 2018 income requirements. On website it still shows 1st january 2017 to 31 dec 2017.
