Closed Inland WP extension (ICT) Approved today. There was no update on profile till yesterday. Spose and kid's applications also approved.
DOA: 6 th April

Just an FYI. If anyone's wanting to know how long it takes to receive the hard copy. I got my approval letter on thursday and I got my WP in mail today. It was sent from Edmonton and I live in northern Alberta
After a peak of 197 days from last week, I see today that inland WP processing time is finally starting to decrease... 183 days now.
Can someone answer to question related to my case? Do we get WP hard copy deliver to mailing address or residential address or just soft copy for online application? In my case mailing address is my office address which is now moving to new address and that's not yet open. Any suggestion ?

Is it a queue based on the country of citizenship, the country that you apply from and or the type of visa / work permit?

You can call IRCC staff and update your addresses. It doesn't take much time post you connect them.
1. We will not get any soft copy of work permit online. We will only get an approval letter.
2. Like stated above, I would submit a web-form to indicate change of address. 2 days later talk with customer care to double check if they have the right address on file.

My work permit has been approved today including my spouse open work permit.
Application submitted on May 1st
Eligibility has been reviewed on Oct 1st.
Work permit was approved on Oct 2nd.
