I called them again, explained my situation, they said we already forwarded your situation to Edmonton office couple times, but no reply from them.
Left only 10 days to get a good job.

is there any way to contact Edmonton office directly and is it good to contact them?

Also submitted webform 2 times
One 10 days ago and another 1 and half month ago.
Customer care also left comments to visa office for me, but no reply

Approach via your MP.

Approach via your MP.

My MP helped me two months ago and it did not work. The local offices now are so well protected by the shield 'because of COVID'.

More than anything else, they have to respond what is happening and why is it happening. IRCC as of now is a blackbox.

Hard to reach in my area
Only have 10 days to get a workpermit and a job. After that have to go with any available job. No Walmart than
Very short time.
Still try
To the best of my understanding, your situation is that you need the work permit fast because an implied status is impacting your employment situation as you are based out of a mid-sized city with most of the employers unaware of implied status or open work permit extension process.

If this is the situation, from an immigration point of view, the best you can do is to find a professional who knows more about the system. If you are having limitation on financial part, there are pro-bono professionals who provide help in such situation and there are lawyers who provide smaller consultation at much lesser cost.

They may also be able to help because unlike you doing stuff on your own, they might be able to reach out to MP's office faster, for instance.

BTW, if I were you and going with an expired work permit, I will also seek how quickly can I get an expat insurance (if you are not covered already). Some provinces do not extend medical insurance for those who are on implied status. My wife's medical cover will be gone by 31st oct. That will be my number one worry.

Today my spouse application status changed to below status. She applied work permit extension on June 12th 2020.Hopefully she will get status in couple of days.

Good luck... you'll see the updated status soon!

Usually how many days it will take after this status?
For me it took less than 2 hours. when I saw my application it was showing same way what you've mentioned and later after couple of hours it was approved. I guess that may be depends on the application.
