AOR Received.
26-01-2020
Hi All,

I have received ITA in November last year and AOR in January 2020. Submitted my profile but I have a very complex work experience that includes part times and internships alongside the full-time experience. The complexity is with the different hours of job I took up each month as a research assistant at a University. I am concerned if I may have miscalculated and my CRS might not match the CRS when ITA was received.

As of today without a part-time job, I have more than 3 years of experience. Can I submit the latest letter from the current employer to make things easier? Would this help or is there any other possibility? I am nervous. Thanks in advance.

Hello All,

My spouse has experience in India. We haven’t climbed any point for spouse Foreign Experience. I have mentioned her experience in Personal Activity. Should I need to mention her Foreign Experience in Work History?

Hi, I have some question regarding primary noc.

- The NOC for primary occupation should be the one that I have at least 1 year work experience in?

- what if I make a profile and choose primary NOC same as the job that Ive been working for 11 months so far?

- is it their responsibility to check the 1 year requirement before sending invite or they just send invite and would later reject my application because of not having 1 year experience at the time of ITA?

Thank you.

Hi, I have some question regarding primary noc.

I'm assuming you are asking this in the context of your Express Entry profile / eAPR.

- The NOC for primary occupation should be the one that I have at least 1 year work experience in?

Yes. More precisely, at least one year of continuous, paid work experience under a suitable NOC.

- what if I make a profile and choose primary NOC same as the job that Ive been working for 11 months so far?

You can still create a profile with 11 months work experience (there was a known flaw in the system, not sure if it still exists). The system calculated my work experience as 3 years while I had 2 years and 11 months.

- is it their responsibility to check the 1 year requirement before sending invite or they just send invite and would later reject my application because of not having 1 year experience at the time of ITA?

Let me make it simple. If you apply (submit e-APR, not EE profile) without meeting the minimum eligibility criteria, your application WILL be rejected and you will NOT get your processing fee back. Wait until you meet the requirements and then proceed with your application. If you received an ITA based on incorrect qualifications / incomplete or incorrect information, you must reject the ITA and wait for a fresh one.

Thank you.

The format looks good. You must add more responsibilities IMO. I don't do NOC evaluations. However, since my NOC was 2174 as well, I have DM'd you a draft of my responsibilities that I submitted for my application.

Use it for guidance only and build yours around it.

I have a CRS score of 440. I have done B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and currently an IT Project manager (probable NOC code is 0213). My ECA is done and IELTS is 7778. Which PNP am I eligible for. I wanted to apply as an FSW but the cut off seems to be very high. Please suggest if there is any other way to apply for Canadian PR.

Visit the links in the first post in this thread and get to know about the different PNPs available. The requirements are different for each PNP - go through those and see which one fits you best.

Good luck.
