Suggestions for CELPIP

Hi members.

I missed CLB 9 2 times by .5 bands in my IELTS, so this time going for CELPIP. Does any one have suggestions for me to touch CLB 9 in CELPIP?

Generally speaking CELPIP is easier than IELTS. You can buy sample tests on CELPIP website for couple bucks. Go over 2 tests to get how the exam works and you're good to go.

It depends. Yes, CELPIP is much much easier in Reading and Listening, but much harder in Speaking, and so so in Writing. I'm not sure about other, but for me, most of CELPIP training materials are pretty useless.

do a lot of training on speaking for CELPIP , i reached CLB 12 in reading and listening , 10 in writing but struggled with CLB 8 in speaking (although in IELTS my speaking ranged between CLB 10 and 11 )

Yes I bought Celpip study guide online and its not useful at all.

I know its an old thread, but were you able to get up to the score of 9 in CELPIP?
