Hello,

I am planning to apply for Canada - PR based on Canadian experience class. Which country PCC document I need to submit? Means home country or Canada.

I have already been left my country since more than 1+ years. Still I need to submit home country PCC doc.
Could you please suggest on PCC document. Your response highly appreciated !!!

Thanks

you need to submit one for each country that you have lived in for more than six months since your eighteenth birthday. In your case, that sounds like it means your home country, plus wherever you have been living since you moved away 1+ years ago.

Hello,

I am planning to apply for Canada - PR based on Canadian experience class. I lived in USA for 9 months but with a vacation of 3 weeks in between. I stayed in USA for 4 months, went on vacation for 3 weeks and then stayed for 5 months again. Do I still need to get the PCC from FBI?

Thanks

I would say, what were you doing? Were you there as a student or... ? Did you have a residence?

In any case, CIC will probably ask for the FBI, so I would recommend that you just do it.

Technically I don't think so since it was not consecutive months, but I don't know. Its at their discretion to ask for it anyway. Take my recent example.

I lived in the UAE until I was 18yrs and 5 months exactly, and then moved to Canada. I got a PC request this week. Thought it was a mistake and emailed CPP Ottawa to bring the detail to their attention. They responded back saying their request still stands. So frustrating but oh well.

Another idea is to submit your application, and submit the PCC later, as it is not required to submit the PCC along with your application. Just my two cents.

Then I'd say your vacation was irrelevant, and you definitely need to get the FBI certificate. If your application is ready to submit, you can go ahead, I would just include a note saying that you are applying for the FBI clearance and will forward that as soon as you receive it.
