Hello all,

I recently applied for PR under TR to PR for international graduates. I made a mistake in IMM0008 form. I forgot to wrote my given name in the form and I provided wrong birth year for my parent by mistake.

Could anyone suggest what should be appropriate action I should take? Will my application be okay or there are any chances of rejection?

Please give your valuable feedback.

Thank you.

My suggestion is to submit a fresh IMM0008 form with the corrected information, along with the letter of explanation through the IRCC WEBFORM, however here is no guarantee if they will accept this. Fingers Crossed.
Also, how can you forget to write your given name in the form. IMM0008 is a form with barcode, which means it wont let you validate and will prompt a red box if you missed to answer any question. The top right of the form should say YES. Please double check.

The thing is that the given name field is not mandatory as it does not have an asterisk for that field. So, any field without an asterisk that remains blank would be okay for validation purposes. I however provided my nickname in the application.

As long as your name is same as your passport and other immigration documents for ex: study permit.
