Hello to all,
I wanted some advice from you, my husband is here in Calgary in November 2012 with a work permit as a butcher and has already done a year of work as a baker in Vancouver.
Now we want to make the request for residence, you think it is better to make the pnp or cec? Which is easier? Not having a lawyer who follows the practices we would not make too many mistakes.
Thanks for any suggestions
Betty

If he already worked full time for 1 year or more, he should apply under CEC. It is less complicated than PNP as well as PNP is usually based on employer support so if he ends up changing jobs or being laid off during the processing time, it can mess up his application.

If he has completed ONE year full time work in Canada, he is eligible to apply under Canadian Experience Class. Instructions are available on the CIC website. Preparation of application is not difficult for a person who can read, write and understand English/French well. Of course, any doubts can be solved by posting question in this forum especially on Canadian Experience Class (CEC) topic
