Sudden changes in employment situation after submitting OINP application

I got laid off from my company on 11-Jan-2024, since my application was already submitted saying i am currently employed, will it affect my application?
how do i update already submitted application? Or will I need to update?
If i update my express entry profile will it cause any information discrepancies for my OINP application?

Sorry for not providing more info on this. But this is an outland human capital FSW stream and my application is not tied to any job.

How do I inform OINP about this?

I just checked ONIP website for change of personal information, they have mentioned that only changes in data entry or spelling errors will be accepted. And my changes are not data entry.
