Hello,

We had applied on Oct 2014 and the file has been transferred to the VO and still in application received. I had visited my wife in Dec for a month and was wondering if we can send an update to our file to the VO showing my visit and updated conversations.

Also do we send it as a case specific enqiry or in an email.

Any help is appreciated
Thanks

I would say to that , if you got plenty of evidence already showing your marriage as genuine I would not proceed any further and let your application run its course. just my 2 bits

Yep, just leave it processing. If they ask for evidence then you can provide it at that point, but it tends to just confuse things if you send them info that they haven't requested.

I am just worried or parodied you can say that we will get refused based on our marriage/relationship not being genuine.

Our story is: we have know each other since kids ( close family friends) and have shown pics of us growing up, trips as families over the years etc and started liking each other after high school before I moved here. Our marriage was kind part arranged and what we wanted since we didnt officially date and didnt have relationship proof.

Since we showed as arranged marriage, I was thinking may be we should show more evidence that we are still marriage.

What do you guys thing.

They won't reject you outright. They will say they are not satisfied with the amount of evidence provided and will give you a chance to provide more.

agreed. also, remember what you may consider to be a "red flag" or an "issue" may very well not even be a concern for the visa officer reading the application. there's no point in offering up unnecessary information that can cause the officer to wonder why you are sending more proof when it wasn't even request.

as everyone else has said. relax and leave it alone.

CIC NDVO is quite familiar with local customs. They will know that arranged marriages are fairly common in India and if you provided the standard evidence, you will be fine.

Thank you guys we are relaxed now ;D

I guess there is no need to send information unless requested so.

@CAfromIndia: I was already a resident after which I sponsored her

Thank you all once again
