Submitting IMM5710 - Open Work permit inland

Hello everyone,

I have filled out IMM5710 form my wife's open work permit application. I validated and saved the form.

Then, to sign the document, I printed to PDF, signed electronically and saved it. However, it fails when I try to upload it with the following error:


Error: We couldn't upload your file.

• Error Description:
  Make sure you are using the latest application form from our website. You can get it by clicking on the link below.
  • Answer all questions on the form
  • Click on the validation button
  • Save it on your computer (as a PDF)
  • Upload the saved PDF document here
• Common issues:
  • After I click the Validate button on my application form, nothing happens and I don't see the barcodes. Why?
  • I validated my form, but when I try to upload it to my account I get a validation error. What can I do?
  • What do I do if I have technical problems when applying online?

All the questions are answered nd this is the latest application form.

Funny thing is that, I can upload the same form if I do not sign it.

Those who applied for open work permit inland, how were you able to upload IMM5710?

IMM5710 is NOT to be printed to pdf. You need to redownload it, fill it out, your wife type her full name at the bottom where the signature field is, and click the "validate" button. Then you SAVE the form and upload it as is, it'll be counted as signed.

You gotta be kidding me! It clearly says sign!
