I submitted passport to VFS,Delhi on 10-Oct-16 and got back stamped passport+COPR on 14-Oct-2016.

Just have a query, the COPR letter is watermarked with the writing " Not valid for Travel" diagonally across the letter. Why is that so? and what does it mean?

That's normal. The reason for that being there is that the CoPR in and of itself cannot be used to enter Canada- you would need to use it in conjunction with a travel document, or your PR Visa.

This happened to me. But then my online tracker said it was forwarded to Delhi. Don't worry about it. All the best!

Oh, it's super early for you to panic. It could take as long as a month for you to get your passport back if NDVO processes it. Plus this and next week have a lot of holidays owing to Diwali too.
I'd say that going by average processing times, you should have it by November 7

I want to ask u question.i am april 14 Aor fsw ouland VO ottawa.i got my ppr mail on 26 th october.in mail it was written dat i need to indorm cic abiut pregnancy also.So i submiited pasaports through chandigarh VfS on 28th october with cover letter stating expected date of pregnancy that is 29th november but due to some complication (twins) ,doctor performed the operation on 29th october only and my wife gave birth to baby boy and baby girl.now is everthink will be ok by CIC as i stated expected date 29/11and then it became 29/10 due to complication.now wat will be the procedure to add kids ad mine and my wife passport are already with canadian embassy.??will they stamp ????

I'm not sure that is true- I only had one passport that needed stamping, and I didn't get mine back for almost a month after submission.
It seems to be arbitrary.
