Submitted Passport to NDVO via VFS: Join and Share Timelines Here

I have received my CPR & PPT on 07.10.2016 when submitted on 20.09.2016 at VFS Mumbai.

The delay I assume due to the fact that my daughter CPR was issued only on 06.10.2016 however mine & spouse CPR has date of 16.09.2016. More number of ppts for stamping may delay the issuance.

I'm not sure that is true- I only had one passport that needed stamping, and I didn't get mine back for almost a month after submission.
It seems to be arbitrary.

Any update from people who would have submitted their passports to VFS in the earlier part of last week? that would give an approximation of the timelines for this week, as what I understand is that timeline for every month can be different due to many variable factors, I have submitted mine today at Delhi VFS

We submitted our passports on 27th September at vfs Kolkata and on 07th Oct the online status appears as "processed passports dispatched from Embasy".As vfs office is closed till today the status still appears the same.Hopefully it will change tomorrow as ready for collection.

Submitted PPT on 5th Oct.
Application Closed on 10th Oct.
Received PPT on 11th Oct i.e. Today.

You might want to call VFS and ask them for the tracking number. That said, I picked up mine from the VFS Office myself, so I am not exactly sure what the process here is.

Alternatively, on Bluedarts website, track using the ref no. and use the same ref no. that you got from VFS. The one which starts with 2016xxxxxx. It'll show the status.

Anyways, if the passport has been sent via courier today, it'll reach the designated address tomorrow.
