I think they have firm timelines for that. Have you checked the respective website?

1. Citizenship quotes 10 days for pickup at Passport office, 20 days by mail, usually comes by mail in less than 2 weeks.

They have a declared timeframe to deliver your passport. Although my passport was delivered 5 days before what they declared. It took one week for me.
