VISA would be approved don't worry. But do nudge CHC and ask the originals back. As otherwise it will take a good long time to get duplicate ones created.

paid fees 17 oct
applied visa on 7 nov

i have submitted application on October 21, 2011. received email that my application has been received at CHC ISB on October 24, 2011. Also i received call from embassy within a week. the person was asking about my visa fees that have u submitted it. i confirmed to him that yes i did it so he said ok we will check that from accounts.

If we compare it with SPP, then India is faster but if we compare it with General then I think it takes almost same amount of time, with a few quick cases.
