SUBMITTED ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS TOO ALONG WITH NOTARIZED PHOTOCOPIES

I have submitted orignal degrees and mark sheets along with notarized photocopies as Visa Officer asked me to do so, i wanna know that will embassy return back my original documents along with my passport or do i need to follow some procedure?

Hello,

If the visa officer asked u to submit ur documents then he may return it to you.I live in India and from my experience I can tell u that they dont return anything except the passport along with the corresponding documents.

this is the first case i have seen that a student was asked to SUBMIT original degrees at chc. hope they know what degrees mean to a student ( most precious ) and they will return originals .

Yeah, i hope they are aware of the fact that how much original degrees are valuable.

In India they dont required Original Educational Documents.. But in Pakistan you need to submit original documents.
So dont worry you will get your documents back.

Hey, why would you do that? I mean you went through the checklist right? And did any consultant suggest that??

As far as I know and I have read, they don't return anything back except for the passport. But you can always try pinging them asking them back. Probably calling them up or emailing them might help.

yeah i went through the check list. actually when i was submitting my documents i also had originals with me at that time visa officer asked me that its better to submit originals thats why i had submitted originals otherwise i would not have done that.

Oh so you submitted your file directly to CHC Delhi/CHD? That is very weird of VOer to suggest that. But now you should claim them back from CHC as soon as possible, try contacting them by email and calling them up, you must have some receipt number?

PS. Did you ask him if you will get the originals back??

dont worry....if they have asked themselves..........they will 101% surely return ur docs

Yana don't worry CHC Islamabad do required original Educational Documents. I too have submitted along with many others
