Submitted my pnp application November 2012and no response yet

Hi, I ve a friend in Winnipeg who nominated me for Manitoba immigration since November 2012 and ve not heard anything from them. I checked on the website to see how I can trace my application but I read I shouldn't get in touch once application is submitted.
Is anyone in the same shoes as me. Does anyone know how long it takes to get certificate in Manitoba province n how to get the application status

Dear dayobiodun,

Please edit the subject line to reflect 2012 as contained in your text & not 2013.

Was your application submitted by your sponsor or by your post?

I will advise you to contact MPNP by e-mail quoting the date your application was sent to MPNP & if sent by DHL please quote the recepient of the parcel in Winnipeg. Ask for the Case Status of the application & File Number.

Alternatively, your sponsor should also follow-up on this.

Ar you sure your friend actually submitted an application for you.As advised speak to your friend to be sure and also ask him to call or visit MPNP office.
Your situation is quite strange.

I strongly doubt if he submitted the application at alll ... Without an AOR or any letter saying an application was received ...

Hi all, thanks for your response. I actually put the application in the post myself, I sent by registered mail. As at the time I submitted it wasn't compulsory to do online application so I did paper application. My friend claimed he has not being called for interview or asked any question by MPNP on my application which is quite strange as you all observed, I do not ve any means of enquiry online or whatsoever.
The thought of him not submitting is totally out of it but how else do I trace the application is what is given me headache! Any useful advise pls

Hi all, I got in touch with MPNP today n was told they ve my application n was given a reference number. Could anyone pls tell me what's the stages/steps like? When I asked how long it ll take to hear from them, I was told to wait they ll get in touch with me

Your application is long coming and ought to have been concluded but you just have to wait for sponsors interview and all things been equal LOA gbam.
