Submitted my FBI PCC today with CSE. What happens next?

Hi all,

I submitted my application for PR (after getting the ITA) on August 5th. I passed the medicals shortly after that. I mentioned in the LOE that I did not attach the FBI PCC as that would take time.

I just sent the scanned copy of the FBI PCC which I got today after nearly 3 months of waiting. I attached it after opening a CSE (case specific enquiry).

My ECAS does not show bg process to have been started. Given that I submitted the final piece (FBI PCC) so late in the game, what happens next?

(I am hoping at the minimum that they will send me the acknowledgement and attach it to the main application.)

Will they now start the actual processing of the application. Which means they might take 3 to 6 months to process it.

Or did they already finish reviewing the documents for eligibility and only did not do the FBI check which means they might proceed faster.

Any one having experience with this? Would also appreciate linking of previously discussed threads on a similar topic here.

Given that I submitted the incomplete on Aug 5th. Will the application process start from the scratch after they receive the FBI PCC? What is the typical timeline after FBI PCC is submitted?

Hey I am in a similar situation. Can you help me out a bit?

1. ITA received - 17th July , FBI PCC mailed - 8th July but they kept the documents in some customs check for several months and finally the fBI received the documents on 9th of September which means that I won't have the PCC before the mid of December as they say it takes 3 months.
2. CIC granted me a 60 day extension from 16th Sep to 16th Nov however I want to request them for another extension.

what is the best way to request the CIC? Did you call or email them? Or submitted a CSE with an LOE?
