Interview was mid July 2024
since then no update. When i call they say it is in the security check. it has been for more than 8 months !

Is there anything I can do ?
and what is the anticipated wait time. ?

Not much other then wait. It can take a year and above too. Mostly year mark it should happen.

so this security check usually takes one year ? so the rumores that it can take 2-3 years are not based ?? Thank you!

In exceptional cases it may take 2-3 yrs.
