has anyone applied for an FBI clearance? where did you guys get your fingerprints in Manila?
I did not get an FBI clearance since there's no FBI here in the Philippines. I have NBI clearance.

Hi edithm, you can get your nbi clearance in any nbi office. in manila, i think nbi is located in taft.

Hi everyone.

Count me in here please even though I have yet to submit my full documents to VO-Manila. Hehe. ;D The uncle of my husband (principal) has yet to send his documents. :( He just might fax them and will just photocopy them since the originals aren't required.

Anyway, since many, if not all, have submitted their documents, can you enlighten me on the Proof of Funds please.

I want to submit a certification of deposit from the employment cooperative of my husband. I hope some of you are familiar with that. It's a savings and loans cooperative. Would that count as proof?

Also, did you attach a valuation of your house or vehicles. I find it a hassle to gather them considering that they are not counted in the Proof of Funds. What did you do on those assets?

Thanks thanks. I hope we can still submit sometime this month, but my personal target is August 15, Hope I make it. I hope everybody makes it. ;)

Thanks.

smilepmendoza - you download the latest manila visa office requirements at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37025.pdf
For your house and lot you may get an assessment in your assessors office where your property is located and for your car, in my case i just refered from classified ads and compare the present market value of my car.
In the proof of worth, you have to include and declare your assets and encumbered properties. In the case of your husband's deposit in a cooperative, maybe you can include it in the other assets as included in form/kit.

hi you may not include your house and vehicles pero pwede din siya isama sa pof but my friend told me that its better to meet the pof in cash para wala ng maraming docs na idadagdag. with regards the coop funds you must have a bank statement that the account is under your hubby's name.

Hello po. Thanks thanks for the replies. Actually, I think (hopefully) we can meet naman the cash portion (anything liquid) of the required proof of fund. As to cash, I will present bank certifications, insurance termination value certifications, atsaka yun ngang Saving and Loans Cooperative Certification. Iniisip ko pa whether to attach documents for non-liquid assets like condo and car. Baka deed of sale na lang tapos ako na lang estimate ng assessed value. Ayayay! Di ko pa alam! Hindi ko pa kasi nalalatag ang figures eh. Compile ko pa lang ang lahat ng docs. Hehe. Sige, I will let you know kung makakasubmit na ko.

Thanks thanks.

Wait, pahabol po. Do I buy na the demand draft to be paid for RPRF? Nalilito na ko. This is supposed to be asked pa diba. Why is it in the new guidelines it is indicated that I need to attach na? Please can you clarify.

Thanks ;D

What i read from the posts, rprf will be included in the medical request. It can be in peso or cad amounting 490 cad per applicant and accompanying family members 18 year of age and above.

Please count me in. I sent my full docs through LBC last July 12, delivered the following day. I hope to receive the AOR within this week.
