Hi,

I submitted the Express Entry profile and my CRS score is 375. in Provinces and territories of interest, I selected All Provinces and Territories.
  1. What should be my next steps?
  2. Except for Quebec which provinces are not associated with Express Entry?
  3. In which provinces I need to submit a profile or do the separate process in their respective portal?

If you had 10 years work experience, I advise you to apply SINP since your crs is too low to get invited. In terms of the SINP, you shoud go to thier website to enter their own pool and wait for being invited. They tend to invite candidates who had low CRS but had several years of working experience

Hi Holmes

Thank you for your response.
Please correct me if I am wrong. To apply for SINP I understood

1. EE profile is must and you are selected from this pool
2. Job offer from the province is required

Or SINP does invite without the above

You don’t need a job offer for SINP but you need an eligible NOC that matches your education. Scores are high in Saskatchewan too. You need to check their eligibility and score.

I am looking for NOC 3233. So can I directly apply for SINP or do i need a EE profile

Because nursing is a licensed profession by province, the NOC is on the ineligible occupation list for SINP. So you can't apply.
Ohh,,,, Thanks for the update
It is on the eligible list of MINP, but they require Job Offer.
Will have to look for other Provinces

You will run into the same issue with the other provinces. As a nurse, you need to be certified through the NNAS. Have you had your education and work experience assessed through NNAS? It takes about a year for the assessment. Then when assessed you can apply for licensing in a province.

To apply for Immigration or to get ITA, I dont need to be certified by NNAS. I have my ECA done. What I understand is that is enough to apply for Immigration.
NNAS is required to work as Certified Nurse. This can be done after arriving in Canada

All right but your NOC is ineligible for some PNP programs so your only option is an ITA through EE. What is your CRS score.

CRS is not good.... 360. EE is a distant dream.
I am looking for PNP programs where
  • The NOC is eligible
  • Does not require a Job offer and
  • Maybe not require a EE
