My AoR details that I should apply for a Bridging open work permit under my circumstances (IEC Visa coming to and end).

I click the hyperlink and it takes me to my account but I cannot see where specifically to apply for BOWP?

'What would you like to do today?' section only list the usual; Visit, Study, Work OR IEC OR IFHP buttons... how do I get the BOWP?

Thank you!

For the BOWP, you want to work "temporarily" for more than 6 months (not "permanently" which is for PR).

jes_ON, you are amazing and so patient! Thank you!

Finally, so sorry, to clarify, on form IMM5710 - Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker, I am applying for 'Temporary Resident Permit'. ?

Also, my common-law partner should apply on his own responding positively to the question: Are you a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child of a person who: -Applied for Permanent Residence to an office in Canada and was determined to be eligible for Permanent Resident status (first stage approval) ?

Thank you so much again.

Only if you do not want to work. If you want to work (BOWP) then you have to apply for a work permit. Doesn't really matter if you chose "Same employer" or "new employer."

Your partner needs to submit his/her own application yes. Both applications can be submitted at the same time.

I'm waiting for an invitation under CEC soon, with ny PGWP expiring in September. Will I be eligible for BOWP after I've received the CEC invitation and applied for PR? Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat (received AOR and IEC Visa ending)

Does anyone know how long does the BOWP application usually take to be processed? Presuming they are a lot quicker than the PR application to be processed?
