Submit passport in person buffalo office

Hi,

I am waiting for my passport request. Currently, I am in India. There is no way from India that I can send my passport in mail.

So I need to visit buffalo office personally. So quick question, if we submit passport personal, do they return passport on same day ?

any experience on the same appericiated if be shared.
