Dear Friends,

My lawyer has submitted my documents for the skilled worker category. And he said that i should expect a letter of confirmation from the government to be sent to my adress in my home country.
Could you please tell me how long it takes to get this letter ?

Thank you

If lawyer submitted your document to Sydney NS, then you have to get email first, with further instructions, and it will take a few months ( can't confirmed exactly number of months as it is always depends on many thinks). This is basically 1st AOR where you will get your file number. And then they will sent your file to your respective CHC ( Where are you from?). And only after you will get 2nd AOR where will be mention you new file number "B8888888888" which you will be able to track in cic.gc.ca website....
So good luck with your application!!!!
